Seychelles

Consisting of 115 islands, the Seychelles archipelago lies 4-5° South and 55-56° East. Off the East coast of Africa and just North of Madagascar, these tropical islands are 1000 miles from anywhere.

Explore Mahé and its well known sights such as Victoria, the smallest capital in the world, where you can enjoy the bustle of the Market with its fresh produce and crafts, and see the Clock Tower. Enjoy the long beaches of Beau Vallon Bay, Anse Royale, Anse a La Mouche and Grand Anse and the small exclusive, quite hidden beaches such as Anse Major and Anse Intendance. Hike in the Morne Seychellois National Park and visit the the historical mission sight.

Only a short distance from Mahe are the islands of Praslin and La Digue. Praslin is home to the Vallée De Mai (said to be the original Garden of Eden), as well as Anse Lazio one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. La Digue has an old world charm of its own, cars are rarely seen and the quiet, simple island life restores the soul.

Further afield are the Amirantes Islands, the Farquhar Atoll and the Aldabra Atoll which is a protected World Heritage Site. These flat coralline islands provide a different perspective of paradise to the granitic islands of Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.
