Behind Le Petit Village is the beautiful Morne Seychellois National Park. Boasting the highest peak in the Seychelles at 905 metres, Morne Seychellois, this National Park allows the visitor to experience the beauty of the indigenous plants and wildlife on this tropical island. With a variety of walks to suit those who enjoy an active hike as well as those who prefer a more leisurely stroll, the National Park has marked routes and excellent guide maps.
One of the most popular walks is along the North West coast of Mahé to the secluded beach of Anse Major which is only accessible by foot or boat– this walk is easily accessible to guests at Le Petit Village, as the start of the walk is a 2 minute drive or twenty minute stroll from your doorstep. Alternatively a walk to one of the peaks on the island provides a truly spectacular view of the surrounding waters and islands.
