Most of the entertainment activities are focussed around the larger hotels. Many hotels arrange for live bands in the evening or you may be able to enjoy the performance of the Sega (a sensuous dance between couples). There are also casinos around the island where one can enjoy a drink at the casino bar whilst trying your luck on one of the many games tables. Local discotheques / clubs remain open until late in the evening on weekends and visitors are welcome to party the night away (a entrance fee may be payable).
At varying times of the year, visitors to the island can enjoy one of the many festivals in Seychelles. In particular, the Creole Festival at the end of October is a display of local music, dancing, singing, food and crafts. These festivals are a vibrant display of Seychelles culture.
