The Bay Ternay Marine Park is located on the Western tip of Mahé and provides a wealth of sea life for guests to enjoy. Established as a Marine Park in 1979, along with the adjacent area of Port Glaud, this conservation area provides some of the best snorkelling on the island. With no coastal road, access to the Marine Park is via boat and Teddy’s Glass Bottom Boats offer daily trips to the park. An afternoon excursion to Bay Ternay is well worth the visit as in addition to the superb underwater world, the boat trip along the West coast affords spectacular views of Morne Seychellois (the highest peak in the Seychelles) as well as a glimpse at the secluded beaches of Anse Major and Anse Du Riz.
